Puente Don Manuel, also known as Puente de Salia, is one of the neighbourhoods of Alcaucín that has seen the greatest increase in recent times, especially in the services sector. It has grown a lot, and it has expanded its wide range of shops, bars and restaurants to include a varied offer dedicated to the foreign population settled in the area. It is the part of Alcaucín which is the closest to the Viñuela Reservoir, probably one of the reasons behind this development boom.
